What's It All About?
Today's societal ills world-wide can be traced to a suppression of God's Word, the only Absolute Truth. Conversely, the Word is the answer to today's problems. The entire world is in rebellion against God and The Word. This is no surprise to God. He tells us in Psalm 2: "Why do the nations assemble with commotion (uproar and confusion of voices), and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme? The kings of the earth take their places, the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Annointed One (The Messiah, The Christ). They say let us break their bands (of restraint) asunder and cast their cords (of control) from us. He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision (and in surpreme contempt He mocks them). (Amplified Bible)
Today there is a powerful conspiracy to suppress God's Word (removal of 10 commandments). But they cannot! For our own safety and peace of mind it is absolutely essential that we know the Word of God. "If ye continue (abide) in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:31-32). "For the word of God is quick (living), and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:11). Jesus told us in John 16:13: "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth is come, he will guide you into all truth."
Fellow pro-lifers, we can win this battle, starting right here in Louisville. All we have to do is to show up in the Name of the Lord, follow his Word and His Leading. We will win. "Light excelleth darkness." Darkness always has to flee when confronted by light. "There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of their life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of good courage." (Joshua 1:5-6)
